Cat Grooming
Cat Grooming at Pampers- We understand that our feline friends deserve just as much care and attention as our canine companions. That's why we offer expert cat grooming services since 2013 designed to keep your beloved cats looking and feeling their best. Cats are good at maintaining their coat, but still need a little help with their grooming, although a more elderly cat may struggle to self-groom due to age related illnesses such as arthritis. This is why you should get your cat used to being professional groomed from an early age so that as the years pass and it becomes necessary to get them groomed professionally it will not be stressful for them.

Customized Grooming: Every cat is unique, and their grooming needs vary. We offer personalized grooming services tailored to your cat's specific requirements, whether it's a luxurious bath, a stylish trim, or a simple nail trim. Some cats require more grooming than others to keep their coats in perfect health. Wether purebred or mixed breed, a key to good grooming lies in the length of a cat's coat. A cat with very short coat similar to the Siamese, Burmese and Cornish Rex needs very little grooming. These breeds can be groomed once a week and generally do not suffer from grooming difficulties which you see in the long haired breeds, which require daily grooming. Cats with long flowing coats like the Persian should be combed and have their faces cleaned every day, and they should be bathed weekly or bi-weekly.
Getting involved in your cats grooming, however helps to strengthen and deepen your relationship and also gives you an opportunity to check for signs of illness. You'll soon find that, given patience, most cats get used to grooming and love it.
We acknowledge that some of our clients do not have the time or the expertise to keep their cats knot free and comfortable this is where we can help!
Making professional grooming part of the cats regular routine, introducing them to it when they are still a young kitten will help you succeed in keeping the cats coat in good condition and the cat happy and clean. Professionals also do health checks on the the cat and may spot something that you miss if your not grooming them properly.
Grooming not only stimulates blood circulation and improves muscle tone, but also reduces hairballs in the stomach by removing loose hairs.
The cats coat is the most admired feature, therefore having it groomed regularly is very beneficial. If it becomes matted or dull it is important to have it groomed as soon as possible. At pampers we specialise in cat grooming without sedation guided by the cats temperament .
Whilst it is possible to groom most cats if the cat is very aggressive or easily stressed we recommend sedated grooming by a vet.
